1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Balance Bet, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use the service where you live. You are responsible for following the laws and regulations that apply to you.

3. Your account

You are responsible for everything done under your account. Keep your password confidential. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. Selling, sharing, or creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.

4. Service description & virtual coins

Balance Bet is a free-to-play multiplayer sports prediction game. It is not a gambling product or a real-money prediction service.

All balances, coins, ranks, and other in-game values are virtual and have no cash value. There are no deposits, no withdrawals, and no cash payouts.

5. Game modes & rulebook

Balance Bet currently offers four game modes: Regular Games, Friendly Games, Ranked Games, and Leagues. The current rules of play are described in the Rulebook, which forms part of these Terms.

We may update game settings, matchmaking rules, scoring logic, or other mechanics to improve balance, fairness, and platform integrity.

6. Rankings, activity & integrity

Ranks, standings, and league positions are part of the game experience. We may adjust or reset them if we detect cheating, abuse, scoring errors, or any failure to meet a game's minimum activity requirement.

If a sports data issue, settlement issue, or platform bug affects results, we may correct scores, void affected bets, or rerun calculations to preserve fairness.

7. User conduct

Don’t harass other players. Don’t scrape the service. Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer the line-setting model. Don’t use bots, scripts, or any automated picking. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.

8. Community & user content

If you upload avatars, profile text, comments, or other content, you keep ownership of that content but grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that anything you post does not infringe the rights of others or violate these Terms.

9. Third-party services

The service may link to app stores, social networks, analytics tools, or other third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Intellectual property

The Balance Bet name, logo, code, content, and game mechanics are owned by Balance Bet or our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that sports data, odds, standings, or other information will always be error-free or available in real time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Balance Bet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or close any account that violates these Terms or the Rulebook.

14. Governing law & disputes

Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in the State of Delaware under the rules of JAMS, except that you may bring an individual action in small-claims court if eligible. You and Balance Bet both waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

15. Changes & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page.
