1. Objective of the game
Balance Bet is a multiplayer sports prediction game where every player competes using virtual coins instead of real money.
Your objective is to finish a game session with the highest valid balance, or in leagues, to post the better weekly result and build the strongest season record.
2. Setting up a game session
In host-created games, the host chooses the sports leagues included, the game duration, the maximum number of players, the starting balance, the minimum bet requirement, and whether the game is public or invitation-only.
Ranked Games use standard platform settings instead of custom host settings.
3. Virtual balance & activity requirements
Every player in a session starts with the same balance of virtual coins. Those coins are used only inside the game and have no real-world value.
Each game includes a minimum activity requirement. If you do not meet it, you may be disqualified, penalized, or marked ineligible to win that session.
4. Regular games
Regular Games are flexible, host-configurable multiplayer competitions. They use the same balance-management core loop as the rest of the platform, but without the stricter standardized settings used in Ranked Games.
Unless the host specifies otherwise, the player with the highest valid balance at the end of the session wins the game.
5. Friendly games
Friendly Games use the standard Balance Bet mechanics but do not affect competitive ranking. They are designed for casual sessions with friends, private groups, and community circles.
- Hosts control the session configuration.
- Results count for bragging rights and local standings, not ranked progression.
- The winner is the player with the highest valid balance when the session ends.
6. Ranked games
Ranked Games are queue-based competitive sessions with fixed settings. Each Ranked Game contains exactly 10 players.
- Every player receives the same starting balance.
- Activity requirements are enforced.
- Your finish can increase or decrease your rank points based on performance and the strength of the lobby.
7. Season leagues
Leagues are long-running, season-style competitions. Hosts select the participating sports, league size, and playoff structure.
- Players compete in weekly 1v1 matchups.
- League standings can be split into conferences.
- Top performers advance to playoffs that may include a Winners Bracket, Consolation Bracket, and Consolation Ladder.
8. Results & winners
Bets settle using official game results and statistics. If an event is canceled, voided, or later corrected by the official source, Balance Bet may void affected bets or recalculate results.
In Regular Games, Friendly Games, and Ranked Games, the player with the highest valid ending balance wins. In Leagues, weekly 1v1 matchups are recorded as wins, losses, or ties based on each player's valid ending balance for that week.
9. Fair play & penalties
Multi-accounting, collusion, automated play, exploiting platform bugs, or manipulating sports data or results is prohibited.
- Accounts that break the rules may be suspended or banned.
- Affected sessions, balances, ranks, or league results may be reset or voided.
- Failure to meet activity requirements may result in disqualification or penalties even if your balance would otherwise be the highest.
10. No cash value
Balance Bet does not support deposits, withdrawals, or cash payouts. Virtual coins, balances, rankings, and standings are in-product measures only and cannot be redeemed for money.
